Product Marketing Manager for Multiplayer Mobile Game

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts for an upcoming top-down multiplayer shooter game targeting the midcore/hardcore gaming audience. This fully remote role requires a seasoned marketer with a proven track record in launching and managing global marketing campaigns for mobile games, particularly in the midcore/hardcore segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Game-Specific Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop a comprehensive marketing plan tailored to the unique aspects of our top-down multiplayer shooter game.
    • Target the midcore/hardcore gaming segment with precise and effective strategies.
  2. Global Campaign Execution:
    • Implement and manage marketing campaigns across various regions.
    • Ensure cultural relevance and appeal to a diverse, global audience.
  3. Innovative Marketing Approaches:
    • Focus on creative, non-traditional marketing channels and strategies.
    • Aim to attract and retain players through unique and engaging methods.
  4. Brand Consistency:
    • Maintain and develop the game’s brand identity across all marketing materials and platforms.
  5. Data-Driven Analysis:
    • Regularly assess campaign performance.
    • Utilize data to refine and optimize marketing efforts for better results.
  6. Budget Management:
    • Oversee the marketing budget.
    • Prioritize high-impact and cost-effective strategies.
  7. Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work closely with development and community management teams.
    • Ensure alignment of marketing strategies with game updates and player feedback.
  8. Community Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with the game’s community.
    • Leverage community insights for improved engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Extensive and proven experience in mobile game marketing.
  • Strong track record of launching and managing marketing campaigns for midcore/hardcore mobile games.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile gaming market, particularly the behaviors and preferences of the midcore/hardcore audience.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in mobile game marketing, including non-traditional and organic user acquisition strategies.
Skills:
  • Creative and strategic mindset capable of devising innovative marketing solutions.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Proficiency in various marketing tools and platforms, especially in non-traditional marketing channels.
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging with diverse audiences.
