Digital Community and Engagement Manager - Scotland Onsite 
  
My client is a renowned game development studio is looking to appoint its first
Digital Community and Engagement Manager to engage, nurture, and grow its global community of players, principally through management of the studio’s social media accounts and other digital channels.
  
The Digital Community and Engagement Manager will occupy a key role in the publishing team, effectively acting as the studio’s ‘public face’ on a community level.

Key Responsibilities
  
  • Manage the day-to-day activity of all social media and community channels, including (but not limited to) Instagram, YouTube, Discord, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, Twitch, Threads, Reddit, and the studio's website.
  • Define (and regularly refresh) a subset of those channels as the ‘core channels.’
  • Plan and deliver a calendar of activity across the core channels to grow and engage the studio’s community and promote its games.
  • Establish and maintain the studio’s tone of voice to ensure all content is consistent and ‘on brand.’
  • Craft – and/or oversee the crafting of – the studio’s social media content (both in-house and through third-party suppliers) ensuring that all output conforms to agreed messaging styles and brand guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with prominent community figures and relevant influencers.
  • Monitor and respond to feedback, comments, and social media posts directed to or concerning the studio and its games.
  • Work with the studio leadership to define a list of KPIs (including engagement, response time, and growth) and carry out regular analysis to ensure those KPIs are achieved.
  • Monitor and report on social media trends and best practices.
  • Find, curate, and disseminate studio-relevant content from the community and wider social space.
  • Support the leadership team with regular campaign reviews, presenting results and learnings.
  • Carry out comprehensive social listening and sentiment reporting across all studio channels.
  • Develop and maintain expert, in-depth knowledge of all the studio’s games (and competitor titles).
  
Experience
  • Proven experience in social media management and community building.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create compelling content that drives engagement.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools to track performance and make data-driven decisions.
  
Eligibility Requirements
  • Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in Scotland.
