Senior Gameplay Animator - REMOTE from UK OR EU - AAA Fantasy RPG

Our client is an independent, global video game developer and publisher, with over two decades experience crafting well-known titles. Their RPG series has captivated over 11 million players, with its most recent release achieving over a million sales within just 10 days of its launch!
  
As a Senior Gameplay Animator, you will be responsible for creating best-in-class keyframe character and creature animations that will look and feel at home in this fantasy rich universe of monsters, complex bosses and specialised human characters.
  
REQUIREMENTS:

• Significant experience as a Gameplay Animator with at least 1 released AA+ game.
• Demo Reel showcasing your finest gameplay character animations.
• An excellent understanding of Gameplay animation, 3rd person action and its constraints.
• Strong Keyframe skills to produce the best and most seamless quality.
• Emphasis on action (melee combat, fantasy) for biped and/or creatures
• Creativity and passion to discover new and innovative ideas and a sharp animator's eye for smooth and attractive movement
• Experience and passion in the gaming industry.
• Currently living and eligible for work in the UK or EU.
• Fluent English.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Using Maya, create player, enemy, and boss gameplay animations that fit the style of the game.
• Take charge of the task, make choices, and ensure it is delivered at the highest standard possible.
• Research and suggest new concepts for actions, exciting moments, character development, battles, etc.
• Cooperate Partner with the Animation Lead and Animation Director, receive and implement animation feedback and notes.
• Cooperate closely with Game Designers and Production.
• Cooperate with animation outsourcers as and when required.
