Job Title: Senior Machine Learning Engineer
Location: Fully remote or Austria relocation
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. This role will involve working on advanced machine learning projects, including computer vision and 3D model generation, as well as serving as technical expert and mentor for the team within the candidate’s fields of knowledge. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Python, machine learning algorithms, computer vision and semantic segmentation techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hands-on development and implementation advanced machine learning algorithms
• Collaborate directly with clients on pioneering 3DML projects, including textured 3D model generation, image processing / segmentation, object detection, SDF decomposition as well as CLIP retrieval.
• Contribute to the design and development of machine learning models and pipelines.
• Perform data analysis and preprocessing to support model development.
• Serve as an expert technical advisor for project and product technical roadmaps
• Review the work of junior 3DML developers and participate in mentoring them
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and related fields.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 5-15 years of experience in machine learning and related fields.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Strong practical understanding of diffusion-based 2D and 3D generative techniques
• Familiarity with 3D modeling and analysis techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in deploying machine learning models in production environments.
• Contributions to the open-source 3DML software community (e,g, GitHub) is valued
• Background in computer science, computer graphics or computational geometry.
• Experience with implicit neural 3D representations (SDFs, Gaussian Splats, NeRFs) and their applications
• An understanding of traditional 3D modeling workflows and tools (e.g. Blender, Houdini, Maya, 3DSMax)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and services for machine learning (e.g., AWS, GCP).
