We are seeking a talented and experienced Game Economy Designer to join our team. In this role, you will have a direct impact on millions of players by developing tools that ensure balanced and optimized game economies. Your work will contribute to creating engaging gaming experiences that boost player retention and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:

• Economic Design & Management: Design and oversee the player experience from an economic perspective, forecasting player behaviors across traditional and emerging gaming platforms.
• Modeling & Analysis: Develop simulations and predictive models to anticipate the impact of content changes on the game's economy.
• Balance & Stability: Monitor individual and overall player balances to maintain economic stability within the game.
• Gameplay Integration: Craft and refine gameplay loops, determining how players interact with them to enhance engagement.
• Performance Optimization: Improve content performance through the development and analysis of A/B tests.
• Economic Adjustment: Identify areas where the game economy needs adjustment to maximize player engagement, retention, and revenue.
• Pricing Strategy: Set prices for virtual currencies within the game.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product and Game Design teams to balance and design new features that address existing game challenges.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing free-to-play game economies and monetization models.
• Web3 Expertise: At least 1 year of experience with Web3 and a solid understanding of its ecosystem.
• Analytical Skills: Proven experience in economic modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Game Knowledge: Deep understanding of game mechanics, along with a passion for gaming.
• Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills for addressing complex economic challenges.
• Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills for working effectively within diverse teams.
• Communication: Ability to simplify and convey complex economic concepts, influencing design decisions.
