Job Summary: As a Senior Technical Designer, you will play a key role in the development of game features and tools, bridging the gap between design and engineering. Key Responsibilities:

• System Development: Design and implement game systems and mechanics that are innovative, efficient, and enhance the overall player experience.
• Tool Creation: Develop and optimize tools within the game engine to support the design and programming teams, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with designers, programmers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technical designs align with the overall vision of the project.
• Prototyping: Rapidly prototype and iterate on game mechanics and systems to test feasibility and effectiveness.
• Optimization: Analyze and improve game systems for performance and scalability, addressing any technical challenges that arise during development.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technical designers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Designer in AAA game development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in game engines such as Anvil, Unreal, or similar. Strong scripting skills and the ability to create custom tools within the engine.
• Creative Vision: Ability to understand and translate creative design concepts into practical, executable systems and tools.
• Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
