My client is passionate about creating incredible world-class gaming experiences. Their team is committed to delivering the most cutting-edge and up-to-date designs, as players of their previous games can attest.

They are currently developing an immersive tactical FPS with a focus on realism, engaging gameplay, and stunning graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. A pre-alpha early access release is currently live on Steam

They have an opportunity for an experienced and energetic professional with extensive expertise in game development, skilled in people management, and driven to enhance the quality of game development.

What is the role?

• Overseeing and managing the development process of the game.
• Focusing on deliverability and business value while maintaining creative freedom and a healthy dose of community-driven development.
• Delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Overseeing the delivery of features with Feature Owners and managing versatile teams across the company with Team Leads.
• Striving to improve development efficiency, bring new ideas, build pipelines, and evolve our production techniques.
• Growing and developing the production team to bring the best player experience to our games.

Requirements:

• You have shipped at least two indie or one AA/AAA title on PC or console from start to end in a Production role.
• Experience in different areas of development across design, art, animation, and programming.
• Familiarity with different stages of development: concept phase, preproduction, production, and release.
• A creative problem-solver with good analytical, technical, and project management skills.
• Skilled in solving dependencies between areas of development and ensuring good communication flow.
• Ability to clearly communicate with the team and stakeholders.
• Great sense of responsibility and priorities.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Lean, DevOps, etc.) and the respective software and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills in English.
• Based in  Czech Rep, or willing to relocate with relocation support provided.
