We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Technical Designer to join our expanding team. This is a hands-on role where you will lead and mentor a team of technical designers, working on high-profile, global game projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that your team produces world-class designs while collaborating closely with other departments to meet the high standards expected by our clients.

As the Lead Technical Designer, you will:
- Manage and mentor a team of technical designers, providing guidance on career progression, performance reviews, and professional development.
- Review and provide feedback on game builds to ensure alignment with development goals.
- Create tools and workflows for designers to streamline the design process and improve overall efficiency.
- Adjust and fine-tune gameplay mechanics and variables to capture the desired "game feel."
- Work closely with production and other discipline leads to ensure smooth project execution and address any challenges that arise.
- Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring full awareness of project objectives, timelines, and any potential obstacles.
- Participate in client discussions about future projects and provide input on technical design direction.
- At least 6 years of experience in a Senior or Lead Technical Designer role, having contributed to at least two AAA titles.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine 4/5, Unity, and scripting languages such as Python, Lua, or those embedded into game engines.
- Familiarity with proprietary game engines and experience working with tools like visual scripting editors (e.g., Blueprints).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience in mentoring and managing teams.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between design and engineering teams.
- Experience using version control systems like Perforce and working with development environments like Visual Studio.
- Understanding of object-oriented development and memory management.
- Experience leading a design team through multiple stages of game development.
