Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Line Production Director, the Executive Producer manages a team consisting of Line Producers and Associate Line Producers. Responsible for a portfolio of projects, the Executive Producer ensures their smooth progress and successful completion.
As a true conductor, both the main point of contact for these topics and a facilitator for your team, you are responsible for:
  • Overseeing the overall progress of your projects (strategy, quality, schedule, and budget),
  • Managing your team (assigning objectives, evaluation, guidance, support, skill development),
  • Coordinating with other departments (marketing, business, legal, etc.),
  • Reporting to top management.
Responsibilities:
  1. Product Monitoring / Coordination:
    • Ensure adherence to the project's vision and objectives and communicate them to the teams.
    • Test games, provide high-level feedback to your team, and raise overarching issues that need to be addressed.
    • Help teams anticipate and assess risks to make the best decisions concerning quality/time/budget.
    • Coordinate the efforts of members from different departments within the company (marketing, business, editorial, production, etc.).
    • Ensure that various processes (communication tools, tracking, feedback) are maintained and used.
  2. Reporting / Communication:
    • Act as the main point of contact for top management, providing regular information on projects/productions.
    • Maintain good relationships with the directors or managerial teams of development studios.
    • Serve as a mediator between different company departments and with studios.
    • Coordinate your project team to provide a comprehensive overview of the project and help them gain perspective.
  3. Management:
    • Support and oversee Line Production teams across several projects.
    • Set short/mid/long-term objectives for your teams.
    • Evaluate your team's work and provide advice for improvement.
    • Participate in the recruitment process for the Line Production team.
  4. Organization / Strategy:
    • Propose, implement, and improve new processes and tools.
    • Ensure that company processes, tools, and methodologies are known and applied.
    • Help your team anticipate potential risks and make the best decisions to meet quality, time, and budget objectives.
    • Actively participate in the overall project strategy in collaboration with directors.
    • Ensure that project-related information is updated and disseminated internally through tools and reports.
    • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
Hiring Criteria:
  • Holder of a master's degree (school, university, or equivalent), with over 10 years of experience in video game production at a development studio and/or publisher.
  • Proven experience in team management (monitoring, control, motivation, skill development) and planning.
  • Mastery of production processes (from concept to post-launch).
  • Knowledge of the various roles and fields in video games, allowing for recommendations to improve project quality and management.
  • Diplomatic, pedagogical, and a leader among your contacts (internal or external).
  • Proficiency in office tools: Excel / Google Sheets / Word / Google Docs / PowerPoint / Google Slides.
  • Ideally, have artistic skills (3D rendering, animation, lighting…), technical skills (coding, game engines…), and/or design skills (game design, level design, UI, UX).

Additional Information:
  • Position: Permanent contract to be filled as soon as possible.
  • Location: Paris 19, Metro 7 (Corentin Cariou) / RER E (Rosa Parks).
  • Telework: 2 days a week.
  • Profit-sharing agreement.
