Job Title: Senior 3D Environment Artist (12 month Contract)
Location: Hybrid (occasional in-office presence required)
Contract Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
Overview: An opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Senior 3D Environment Artist to join our team and contribute to the development of an ambitious new project. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, composition, and an understanding of stylized environmental design. This role requires working closely with a team of artists to elevate game levels to the highest quality under the guidance of the Art Director.

This role requires working closely with a team of artists to elevate game levels to the highest quality under the guidance of the Art Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and develop stylized, high-quality architectural and natural environments.
- Collaborate with the art team to ensure consistency with the overall artistic vision.
- Model, shade, and texture assets using Blender.
- Construct levels from start to completion with a comprehensive understanding of technical aspects.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of environment art pipelines and workflows.
- Proven experience working on and completing at least two 3D game projects.
- Strong artistic ability with the adaptability to various styles.
- Proficiency in Blender for modeling, shading, and texturing.
- Solid technical knowledge of level construction and game engine workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced experience with Adobe Substance and pipeline tools is advantageous.
- Experience with AAA titles and PlayStation 5 development is a plus.
- Candidates must be prepared to work as a limited company or sole trader.
- The role requires one day per week or monthly visits to the studio as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
- Potential for an extension or permanent placement after the initial contract period.
