Role Overview:

We’re looking for a skilled Business Intelligence Engineer/Data Scientist to build and lead our business intelligence systems and provide AI-driven insights for predicting project and production costs. This role requires proficiency in BI tools, data analytics, and machine learning, along with strong collaboration skills. The ideal candidate will work with various teams, including production and pipeline, to develop and maintain data pipelines that keep our BI platform and AI models current.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Choose and implement a BI platform (e.g., Tableau, Metabase) that aligns with company needs through cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Design and maintain data pipelines for automatic updates to the BI platform and AI models.
  • Integrate diverse data sources to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with teams to identify essential data metrics and ensure alignment on data and AI strategies.
  • Develop AI models for cost forecasting and resource planning.
  • Regularly refine AI models to stay relevant to evolving processes.
  • Create dashboards and reports for real-time insights, supporting data-informed decision-making.
  • Set up data-tracking mechanisms for AI model training in alignment with production teams.
  • Promote collaborative decision-making on data infrastructure and AI implementations.
  • Research and apply AI/ML for predictive analytics to enhance decision-making across the business.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in business intelligence, data science, or similar fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing data pipelines for BI platforms and AI models.
  • Proficient with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Metabase, Power BI) and integrating various data sources.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML techniques for predictive modeling.
  • Skilled in Python, data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn), and SQL for data warehousing.
  • Collaborative mindset with a strong ability to influence across teams.
  • Experience in building AI forecasting models for business insights.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate data insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
