Associate Producer
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Producer to join our team in a fast-paced, remote environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting production teams, maintaining schedules, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects from start to finish. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in collaborative settings.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Producer to join our team in a fast-paced, remote environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting production teams, maintaining schedules, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects from start to finish. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to thrive in collaborative settings.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a key liaison between vendors, crew, and internal teams, ensuring clear and efficient communication across all project verticals.
- Collaborate directly with creatives, production teams, and content creators to address and support their specific project needs.
- Partner with Creative, Production, and Finance Executives to oversee development and pre-production processes, including script analysis, creating breakdowns, managing budgets, and planning production timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors, Producers, and other key team members, becoming a trusted resource throughout the production process.
- Champion the adoption of new tools, frameworks, and technologies to enhance production efficiency and storytelling quality.
- Contribute to fostering a company culture rooted in curiosity, innovation, and proactive responsibility within the realms of physical production and animation.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to team members, helping them improve their skills and elevate their work quality.
- Assist the live-action crew with camera statistics and setup diagrams as needed, and ensure smooth delivery of 3D scene files for interdepartmental use.
- Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, group meetings, and initiatives that shape the creative direction of the company.
- 3–5 years of experience in VFX or Animation, demonstrating a solid understanding of workflows and virtual production pipelines.
- Exceptional filmmaking and storytelling skills, with the ability to navigate complex production environments.
- Expertise in Autodesk Flow (formerly Shotgun); familiarity with the Atlassian suite is highly advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
- A deep interest in and knowledge of technology and its role in enhancing storytelling.
- Commitment to building lasting relationships and providing outstanding service to both internal teams and external clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including department heads, creatives, and technical staff.
- Experience providing concise and actionable feedback, and contributing to the continuous improvement of workflows and tools.
- Ability to identify new opportunities within and beyond current projects, contributing to overall company growth.
- Passion for innovation, team building, and delivering high-quality production solutions on time and on budget.
